Join AFC to Celebrate the Opening of Descanso Gardens' Habitat Connectivity Exhibit - Reception May 20th, 4-6pm

You are invited to Descanso Gardens on May 20th from 4-6PM to an opening reception for their new exhibit: Growing Habitat, LA's Wildlife & Descanso. AFC is an exhibitor.

We are fortunate to have large islands of natural habitat in and around our homes, schools and workplaces: the San Rafael Hills, Arroyo Seco, Verdugo Mountains, Griffith Park, Debs Park, Glassell Park and more. We all want our wildlife in these areas to survive and thrive. Yet they face daunting challenges. AFC, Descanso, Foothill Municipal Water District, Los Angels County Department of Parks and Recreation, Los Angels Zoo & Botanical Gardens, the Natural History Museum, the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society, The Nature Conservancy and U.S. Geological Survey are featuring, in fascinating displays, the obstacles our wildlife face and what all of us can do to help.

This special showing is for the exhibitors and friends. The public exhibition runs from May 21st through August 19th.
